RenewalExpress

Renewal Express provides doctor's practices with a prescription re-authorization system and a re-authorization call center. The center intercepts calls from patients seeking a re-authorization of a prescription or multiple prescriptions. Renewal Express and the Renewal Express Call Center provides a quick and cost-effective process designed to relieve a practice from potentially thousands of phone calls per month related to prescription handling.

The Renewal Express system allows each call center representative the ability to process hundreds of prescriptions daily to both on- and off-network pharmacies. When a patient contacts the call center with their request for a re-authorization, the request is processed via Renewal Express and arrives at the doctor's office instantaneously. The doctor's practice then decides whether to approve, deny or modify the patient's request.

Upon the doctor's response to the prescription request, the patient is then notified via automated call back. If the request is approved or modified, the signed prescription is sent digitally to the QVL Pharmacy. If a patient chooses an off-network pharmacy, then the prescription is faxed through the Renewal Express system.

DirectRx

We understand that patient safety is the top concern for physicians and their staff. Physicians are looking for an easy-to-use digital prescribing system that will help reduce prescription errors due to hand-written prescriptions. DirectRx is a feature within Renewal Express used to prescribe new or existing medications to QVL or to any off-network pharmacy the patient chooses, directly from the practice. eQ-Prescribing 2010+

In an industry where regulations and laws change frequently, Renewal Express is always making changes in order to stay current by industry standards. Our goal by the end of the year is to be able to roll out a product that will offer an e-prescribing system that will be compatible with current EMR systems. Also, with the government offering many incentives to physicians with Surescript certified digital prescribing systems, we are working diligently to be able to roll out a Surescript certified product.
