History of QVL
It was 2005 and out in the east Texas city of Longview, the founders of QVL Pharmacy
realized that patients who were prescribed specialized medications to help control their
pain were having difficulty getting those prescriptions filled. These same founders saw
a need for a specialty pharmacy that would not only fill those kinds of prescriptions, but
would also offer convenience services to make it even easier. Best of all, those prescriptions
would be filled by caring, empathetic people who understood the plight of those they served.
And QVL Pharmacy was born.
Nearly five years later, QVL has grown to become a provider with ten locations throughout
Texas and Louisiana, all focused on serving the patients who live daily with pain resulting
from a variety of diagnoses. From chronic disease to work-related injuries, patients who have
difficulty finding medications prescribed by their physicians are welcome at QVL Pharmacy.
And while we may not stock candy bars or shampoo, patients can count on us to provide
services designed to enhance their quality of life. Their doctors can count on our expertise
in caring for their patients. And the various members of our QVL Pharmacy Teams can count
on us as well -- to be committed to success in all our endeavors.
